Frostbite Frenzy.
In Frostbite Frenzy the narrative is simple: survive. With no background information given, the game throws the player onto the streets of a mountainside town with subzero temperatures. In order to survive you must retrieve your clothes a return to your house. Once fully clothed and warm enough to return outside, you must continue on a quest to find your wallet and reach the Waffle Hut in time for dinner. Several obstacles throughout your journey include, sewers, frozen lakes, and wolves. I developed the story as I created visual aspect of the game. I first determined that I wanted the setting to be a small mountain town in the middle of winter, a setting that I have seen in film, but never in a video game. I designed each aspect on a separate layer to allow movement of the instructions through the background when the player controls the character. Each frame of motion when the character moves is illustrated in a series of six still images that change each time the player collects a new article of clothing.
